1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Funding Yield OS ("FYOS", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the FYOS open beta.
The beta is an evolving analytical product. Our privacy practices may also evolve as the beta changes, but we aim to describe the current implemented data handling accurately and conservatively.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account and Authentication Data
- email address and normalized account identifier
- hashed password and session/authentication metadata
- account status, locale, timezone, and similar account settings when provided
- beta access state, effective plan/access context, and entitlement metadata
2.2 Product Usage and Operational Data
- access logs such as timestamps, IP addresses, user agent strings, and session activity
- feature-usage events and quota/usage-counter records for bounded beta features
- diagnostic and operational telemetry used to monitor reliability, abuse, and performance
- API usage logs when programmatic access is used
2.3 Support and Contact Data
- messages you send through contact forms, support channels, or beta feedback channels
- information you voluntarily provide about workflows, bugs, or product requests
2.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
- essential cookies needed for session continuity and security
- optional analytics consent state where our cookie banner is used
- preference state needed to remember cookie choices
2.5 Billing Data in Beta
Normal beta access does not require active public checkout. We therefore do not expect most beta users to provide payment method data during ordinary product use.
We may still retain historical billing-status records, legacy subscription records, internal Stripe mappings, or internal billing diagnostics where those already exist or are needed for future commercial reactivation.
3. How We Use Data
- authenticate users and maintain secure access to the beta
- operate, monitor, debug, and improve the product
- apply beta-access entitlements, usage limits, and abuse controls
- respond to support requests, contact inquiries, and product feedback
- analyze product usage at an aggregate or operational level to improve reliability and usability
- maintain security, logging, and incident response processes
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
4. Analytics and Telemetry
FYOS may use privacy-conscious analytics and product telemetry during beta to understand how the site and application are being used, to debug problems, and to improve the product.
Optional analytics are subject to the consent mechanisms we present where applicable. Even if optional analytics are rejected, we may still process essential security, authentication, and operational logs.
5. Third Parties and Service Providers
We may rely on third-party providers for infrastructure and service delivery, including:
- cloud hosting and application infrastructure
- authentication/session infrastructure
- communications and support tooling
- payment infrastructure retained for future commercial use or internal testing
If payment-related data is ever processed through Stripe or another payment provider, that provider's separate privacy practices also apply. Public beta use, however, is not built around active paid checkout.
6. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the beta, investigate misuse, maintain security, satisfy legal requirements, preserve operational records, and prepare for future product transitions.
- account records are generally retained while an account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward
- usage and operational logs may be retained for debugging, security, analytics, and audit purposes
- support and contact communications may be retained to manage ongoing requests and product history
- historical billing records, where they exist, may be retained for audit, tax, compliance, or transition reasons
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These safeguards can include encryption in transit, credential protection, access controls, and operational monitoring.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Data Handling
Your data may be processed in jurisdictions other than your home jurisdiction depending on where our service providers or infrastructure operate. We aim to use appropriate safeguards where required.
9. Your Choices and Requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of certain personal data. You may also contact us about privacy concerns or account issues.
Requests can be sent to privacy@fyos.pro. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Children
FYOS is not intended for children. We do not knowingly target or intentionally collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law for valid use of the service.
11. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the beta evolves. When we do, we will update the posted effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
12. Contact
