Binance funding rates tend to track market sentiment closely but with some lag due to the large trader base. When funding spikes on smaller exchanges, Binance often follows with a delay.

The exchange caps funding at ±0.75% per interval, limiting extreme payments but also capping potential arbitrage returns during volatile periods.

Historical analysis shows Binance funding is often slightly lower than Bybit for the same pairs, making it potentially better as the long leg in cross-exchange arbitrage.

Binance offers competitive fee tiers based on trading volume and BNB holdings. Maker fees can be as low as 0.02% for high-volume traders.

Using BNB to pay fees provides a discount, reducing trading costs further. This can meaningfully improve funding arbitrage margins.
